2-axis cartoning machine suitable for installation in packing and packaging lines. The special design associated with a high load capacity enables the loading of multiple and heavy products with short cycle times. The flexibility and the wide working area make the pick & place ideal for cartoning. The head takes the products up through pneumatically operated bellows and lowers them into the carton. The self-adjustable pick & place head is fitted with collision prevention safety jig. The carton infeed belt is fitted with a positioning mechanism under the centering unit, and leading edge control photocell. The filled carton is discharged automatically. The boundary positioning unit, complete with guides fabricated from thin plastic sheet, ensures the products enter the carton cleanly and without jamming. Motors are inverter-controlled; Quick collation changeover is effected by storing working parameters for each collation within the PLC.
