- Machines have a limit on how fast they can run. This is the amount of “Indexes” / “Cycles” / the time it takes for a operational throughput Per Minute.
- Tracks
- Machines can run multiple tracks to increase speed. Each track produces the desired pack pattern. The example of 3 tracks, means 3 times the Cycle Per Minute and a multiplying boost of Packs Per Minute.
Yes. Our Tray/Case Packers can be combined with our Shrink Wrapping machines for a complete bundling solution. We also offer bypasses (to one or both machines) to suit your packaging requirements.
Choosing between weld-bar and overlap-seal shrink wrapping depends on the priorities of your packaging operation. The right choice should reflect your product dimensions, film type, required seal performance, package appearance, operating speed, and equipment configuration.
Weld-bar shrink wrapping: A heated sealing bar presses and fuses two layers of shrink film. It produces a narrow, strong, clearly defined seam. Product is pushed through the web of film and fused again, resulting in 2 seams on each wrapped product.
Overlap-seal shrink wrapping: One film edge overlaps another, and heat seals the overlapping surfaces together. It creates a broader, flatter seam and is commonly used for continuous, high-speed wrapping. The overlap occurs on the bottom of the wrapped product, allowing for more uninterrupted graphics (print film).
Yes. Product(s) can be shrink-wrapped into small bundles and then sent to another shrink wrap machine for re-bundling. You can even use the same machine set to a larger pack pattern. (See our Beverage Industry solutions).
Yes. We offer machine casters with mounting systems to easily move and secure shrink bundler machines to and from other production lines. We also offer different infeed conveyors that can be swapped out based on the position of the production line.
